Immediately after coming up with a concept in my head for the story, I made this quick render. I knew I wanted Rapunzel to be a character that grew up in a tough environment, but is a dreamer and wants to get out. At first her island was supposed to be covered with mountains, but later I changed that to canyons. On the left you can see her mount and the magical vines in the background, that connect all the islands, while Rapunzel is observing the sunset with hope.
